I forgot how to test a coil.

On my 83 Toyota Land Cruiser I have no spark. I used an ohm meter across the two primary terminals and I have a short. I tested across the secondary terminal to both of the primary terminals and it is open.

Do I have a bad coil? I seem to rember that there should be tens of thousands of ohms across the primary side. And hundreds of thousands across the secondary side.
