Everyone I know who actually lives in the city is single. The radio and newspapers claim families live there, but I think it is an elaborate hoax perpetuated by the Daley-friendly media to try to dupe some families into actually moving there.

Knowing Chicago, there are probably extensive laws about just this. I do know that taxis have to be relatively new to keep their medallions, and all newer cars have those special thingies for attaching child seats to.
