Cheney/Libby had no choice as Wilson was lying.

What should they have said?..."We didn't authorize Wilson's trip, his wife did, and we cannot tell you who she is because she is a non-covert CIA bureaucrat"?

Wilson/Plame lied about how he got the commission and lied about the results of the hatchet job.
