Shut his power off for a week and deny him access to a generator and see how much of a commodity ice becomes to this man.

I know I sound like a broken record. If you depend on the Government for anything you are screwed. When we prepare for hurricanes here we prepare like we are on our own. We do not count on nor have we ever used FEMA or any other agency for help.

I went 20 days in Sept. 2004 with no power. Go out and throw the main breaker on your fuse box for 1 hour and see how much it sucks. Try it for 10 days at a time.
