Hey redbeard, sorry to hear about your foot. Definately take id10t's advice and get a PT session in so they can give you an idea of what you can do. I don't know how tall or big you are but last year my brother(6'10"/285lbs) had knee surgery after blowing out it out during a basketball game. Because he could not use his leg for an extended period of time and he was not put on blood thinners, blood clots developed and moved into his chest. We had to rush him to the ER when he past out after taking a shower and not being able to breath! He is fine now but he was on blood thinners for 6 months and was not allowed to eat any greens.
