No, the communists moved to Hollywood and settled a subculture.
The socialists moved into academia and got tenure.
The trade unionists stayed put and grew more powerful, until they alienated their own members.
As for the Jews, I believe you've got the wrong country.

Unless by “they” you mean Stalin's minions. For it was Stalin who "came for" more communists, socialists, trade unionists and Jews (and gypsies and intellectuals and Christians) than anybody in history.
