THIS to be marketing yourself to African-Americans. From the official Democratic Party website:

Bottom of the page, last paragraph. Guess they should add some more words to that sentence, something like this:
The Democratic Party is America's last, best hope to bridge the divisions of class, race, region, religion, ethnicity and sexual orientation, unless of course you happen to be an African-American Republican in which case all the gloves are off.
