Pretty bold advice considering none of us know the nature or extent of Mike's injury.
It could be a simple herniated disk that may heal over time or it could be an unstable vertebral fracture that, left untreated, could lead to permanent disability.
Get your injury properly diagnosed, then make a decision about treatment.
