Let's face it -- we are deep in the rabbit hole right now. Nobody has a plan or a clue for how we get out. The repubs have, as usual, been better at the marketing side of things, and made the "Democrats have no plan" mantra stick.
The admin plan? The repub plan? None, the Senate had to pass a Resolution asking for one last week!
The Iraqis want us out, we need to get out. Hopefully whatever government shapes up there will not be too hostile to the U.S. That's the only "plan" left.
Amnesty? Heck, we'll be lucky if they don’t form an alliance with Iran to develop nuclear weapons. Amnesty is going to be the least of the insults to come.
