Actually...if an assessor knew anything of the build quality, the taxes would probably go down.
There is no way you can build a house of any quality in 7 days. The drying time of certain materials alone (a timeline you can't manipulate) would eat up way too much of the 7 days. Just think of all the concrete, drywall compound, primer, paint, grout. Those materials alone would take 1-2 days even with "hot" mud, tilt up concrete, and sprayed primer/paint. I don't care how many workers you shove onto the
project, you ain't building anything of even marginal quality in 7 days.
The whole show is a ridiculously long Sears ad. The punchlist might as well be the enitre house because I'd bet they have to do a lot of it over again. Film is very kind to construction flaws.
