Who is actively trying to remove God from society? Maybe actively trying to keep the government from spending our tax dollars to promote a particular religion or teach our children religious mythology in school, but not trying to remove God from society.

This made me laugh outloud. DO you really believe what you just wrote? You talk about how christians are "imposing" but when it comes to attempting to completely remove any and all references to God (no matter how benign or historical) it suddenly becomes simply acting in the interest of the country.
