Edit: interestingly though, it is rumored the early Christians changed the date of the birth of Jesus celebration so as to crush the Pagan holiday...

Christmas....December 25th....is a celebration of the rebirth of longer days....the Winter Solistice...which was a non-Christian Celebration....

The Celebration of the BIRTH of Christ is the celebration of the rebirth of hmmm mankind ....a new begining as it were..

Thus Northern European converts to the Christian Religion convientily put the 2 Celebrations together...

Does it really matter which day you choose to celebrate the birth of Christ...the point is that your honoring his birth....Now personally I would choose December 18th as Christmas, cause it is Keith Richards B-Day...

and BTW I heard from someone who was Backstage at the Rolling Stones concert at the Mandaly Bay that they were especially tight...and Keith is playing better than ever...
