Any religion that don't view Christ directly. Technically, Catholics are Pagan through thier Virgin Mary worship.
I am Pagan. Wiccan, to be exact. Although Christmas is a "stolen" holiday that was meant to make Pagan people more comfortable with conversion, I am not at all offended by the notion of Christmas.
I find it interesting that Yule logs are still burned during the Christmas season. The trees and decorations. Purely a Pagan practice.
What I am offended by though, is the near total dissmissal of the Pagan origins of the holiday.
Cool_chick, it's not rumor. It's fact. The Yule celebrations were around loong before Christ came along.
Have a happy Yule, Christmas, Hanukka (sp?), Kwanza, whatever it is you do.
And as far as political correctness goes, I'm tired of whiney little people who gets offended by every little thing.

And heck while we're talking about stolen holy days, how about Easter. The name Easter is derived from the name of the anchient Saxon goddess of fertility Eostre. Every Spring on the Saxons celebrated the return of spring with fertility symbols like the rabbit (Easter Bunny). And today the days we celebrate Easter is still based on the phase of the moon. Easter is on the first sunday after the first full moon after the vernal (or spring) equinox. How much more pagan of a holy day to you need?
I'm not Wiccan. I'm spritual, go to a Christian church, but don't consider myself solely a Christian.
