It was all about the GT Pro Series TEAM and the Robinson Pro TEAM.

The basic TEAM mods:
3-piece cranks
Sealed Mohawk High-flange hubs
Thin-wall chromoly tubing
44 tooth sprocket

Bikes were $899 new in 1996 ... a fortune to a kid.
