I booted my cable company a few years ago and went to Verizon DSL.

My cable service was faster and very reliable but I HATE CABLEVISION as a company and could not wait to get them out of my house.

So when I signed up for Verizon I saved $20 a month but my line is maxed at 1.5mb's downstream and 756k upstream. I have to say I miss my cable modem speeds but not the price.

Verizon just rolled out FIOS in my area, so for $5 more a month I can get my line speed back up to 5mb's down and 2 mb's up. Still not cable modem speed but 3x's the bandwidth for another $5 sounds good to me.

Anyone have FIOS, I'd like to hear the good, the bad and the ugly.
