Snow is no problem, has to be up past the bottom of the doors before you have to worry any.
I once spun (semi controlled) while changing lanes when I hit black ice, it was in two wheel drive. Now when ever it's wet out, or a little snow or even really windy I have to lock it into 4WD for safety's sake.
Once after a big ice storm I counted 12 cars in the ditches along US 23 and M-14, four of them were Geo Trackers taken out the night before. All I could think was; dumb and young drivers driving when they should not of been - and they were thinking 4WD made them invicable.
There is nothing invincible about a short wheel based car only 12 feet long in severe weather.
