Ive seen Clapton live a couple of times and stand by my remarks that he is the most boring fart ever to strap on a Strat. Conversley, having been a Page disciple for years as a kid, and never having seen Zep, my friends had to drag me to see Page and Plant's tour in the 90s. I really feared the worst, given his atrophy in the early 90s. He was fantastic. Note perfect, precise and absolutely on it. Its nice to have a legend live up to a reputation.
To Scott- Glen Campbell. You are dead right. Great player.
And another Dixie player- still hacking around I beleive, Dickie Betts.
Gary Moore, anyone?
