Nürburgring on Google Earth

I was playing around with Google Earth and I thought, the original 'ring is pretty big, I should be able to find it here.

and so I did, can you see the track?

Here is a link to a great website with satellite picture for comparison: http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/satellite_pic.html

It took me quite a long time to locate it because I had absolutely no idea where it was. I googled Nürburgring and found some maps and directions TO the circuit, so I turned on the "road" feature in GE and started from Bonn. For some reason the search for Nürburg, Germany did not come up with anything until after I found Hohe Acht on the map. I also went on to see a few other circuits like Silverstone, Suzuka, and Indianapolis.

It's just amazing that this kind of thing is now available to general public and it makes me wonder how much more advanced technology would a government or military have. Perhaps one day we will be able to look up where we want to go, see the full 3D real-time picture of it, and just beam ourselves there. Now that would be sweeeeeeet

A piggyback inquiry: I found this photo on 911 Tech forum but I can't seem to locate the thread now, can someone give me a direction? I tried the search but there are 2 million muffler threads and I haven't been lucky. Thank you!
