Shaun, the scale of ecomonis is not as impressive untill you get to 100,00K+. We have looked into this on several projects and unless the house is looking to round out a production line, they are all going to come in about the same. Somethings to consider:
1) Is the work print ready?
2) is it in an acceptable format for them to use? Quark or Pdf?
3) Have you decided on binding type? Some are dramitically more expensive than others.
4) What is the min order? Repeat orders?
5) 4 Color? Grey scale? B&W?
6) What about the cover?

Some house can go above and beyound with some value added contributions that others just can't do or won't be bothered to do for you.
