Yeah, there's trouble. The oil thing, the capturing of manufacturing by low-wage countries, yadda yadda. We're wringing our hands with a frightened look on our faces. The thing I'm wondering is whether we've forgotten what it means to be America.
We're the innovators. Sure, we're dependent on oil right now but do we need to stay dependent? As I've said before, I'm hoping for a President who will throw down the gauntlet and challenge this nation to become energy independent. It certainly won't be this current "president," but when we get an actual leader, energy independence will be a brilliant and responsible challenge.
I'm not tolerant of whiners. Sure, there are technological hurdles to clear. Isn't that how we have fun here?
Fission
Fusion
Battery Technology
Solar
Wind
Anybody who thinks we cannot solve this problem, apparently thinks less of America than I do.
