well its been a really really really long time since i last visited.
so i got almost every thing i need for the body. waiting for the bank roll to add up again so i can get the last few body parts....
so far i purchased the following fiberglass parts from GT- Racing
wide body front and rear fenders,
front bumper, hood, nose panel, and sun roof.
going to purchase the IFC rear bumper and maybe rockers, when i do the car will go to the body shop... i need to take pics when painted.
I'm not going to go with fiberglass doors only becuase i like up and down windows, and i feel a little safer with metal on my side. also im keeping the flip up head lights, i like that look.
so now I'm starting to think about the next aspect of the car which is the ENGINE.
i come up with 2 options...
putting a Ls1 turnkey engine in from
www.turnkeyengine.com ...( dont bash me 400HP bolt in for 10G's dont sound to bad at the moment, engine cost plus install kit from renegade)
OR
sending the original engine 2.5 L to get rebuilt to a 2.7 L or push the limits to a 3.0 L... or just purchase a S2 engine, i dont want to go TURBO.
just out of curiosity what way would you peeps go??? money isnt a problem so im up for anything. just pondering which way to go...
after the engine is in which ever i decide, with maybe some influence, ill work with suspension and then find a 951 trany to complete the task. after i find all this and it rolls down the street ill start on the interrior, not real sure on what ill do in there. but i think i should have all this done by 2008
