I'm in the process of doing a 3.6 conversion and need a bit of advice on a few points. Heres the link to stage one

I ended up with the kit from Timmins which I'm very happy with. I'm close to fitting the engine but just waiting for the last few bits and bobs to get it finnished, heres what the engine is looking like:
I have almost done all the wiring and chassis prep and should be good for a first fit this weekend however I do have a couple of questions:
When I seperated my gearbox & engine I noticed a small amount of seapeage from the gearbox main seal, not a huge amount it was just damp. I have read these are a bugger to get out(I had anough of a wrestle with the crank main seal) and I was wondering if I should leave it and do it next time the engine is out or bite the bullet and try to do it now? (I think I know the answer but hope someone might say they all weep)
I also had to buy the non-case drilling G50 clutch lever update jobby and fitted it to my existing fork:
I have read about this and there seems to be conflicting advice on whether it needs lube of not:
"I used the one above with high temp silicone grease as a lube"
"When you go to the weltmiester that has the bronze bushings, I don,t think that you have to lube anything"
Can anyone shed any light on this?
I think thats all for now - more updates & pics later this week I hope
PS - forgot to ask if anyone had a pic(s) of their power steering sheetmetal blockoff - I have the template from timmins but it doesnt seem to fit my setup & I wanted to see what others had done
