Like I mentioned, I think it makes some good points. Too many that come to this country are not adapting to it. They are not coming into the 'melting pot'. "when in Rome..." doesn't seem to be something they think they should do.
We have a lot of "Mexican-Americans", (legal or otherwise), but we also have many "Mexicans that happen to live in America". Also many other ethnicities and nationalities.
I think it's great to honor one's national traditions. I think it's great to even keep speaking your native language, and teach your kids, too. But I think everyone should realise that they are NOT where they came FROM. Though it's not OFFICIAL, we DO speak primarily English here.
We do have problems, and I think it will get worse as we go on with this embracing of diversity without giving any thought to unity.
