If Ghandi had been opposing a truely evil regime, like the Nazis or the khmer rouge rather than Britian, his pacifism would have gotten him nowhere. Luckily for him, he wasn't.
I suppose you would have prefered to have Ghandi as prime minister of England instead of Churchill in 1940...? Right?
