Long story short.

Bought some Furnature and it was supposed to be delivered to our house in North Carolina on the 19th of this month. We recieved a call that the delivery was pushed back to the 22nd.

I had a plane ticket to fly up so I can open the house for the delivery. This is a vacation home.

I called Delta to chenge the flight from the 18th to the 21st. The original ticket cost me $430. They charged me an additional $475 to change my reservation.

I just checked online and it would have been cheaper to buy a new ticket and just not show up for the other flight.

I am a little miffed right now. Is there a way to get Delta to be more resonable? If this normal this is my last time flying up there. It only saves me 2.5 hours of travel time flying vs. driving.
