Thanks for the help. I ended up purchasing and installing a MOMO Millenium steering wheel. It is a little smaller than the original wheel without obstructing too many of the gauges. The only issues is that you loose the locking mechanism and the horn is virtually impossible to connect.
But it looks better and handles better. Definitely an improvement.
