I went with JE pistons and E cams in my 2.7L. If you have to change pistons, I would spring for new ones, or buy a 2.7 Carrera set of pistons & cylinders. They can be found for not too much. One drawback with JEs are you need nikasil cylinders. Good combination but a bit spendy.
