'Conservative','Liberal','Democrat','Republican', etc. There isn't a nickels worth of difference between most of the people that get associated with these labels on this forum every other minute or so.

Search for 'wiretap' in that article and scroll up and read the dialog from Janet Reno in '96 about WMD's, roving wiretaps, and how our pesky civil liberties put too many constraints on the governments ability to protect us. That's from 1996. I remember a bill proposing the roving wiretaps being struck down in the Senate about the same time. Maybe somebody else can find that one.
