9 page thread and it seems a large amount of the technical input is coming from newbs, e.g., TD and PB. Most of this thread is sniping, preaching, philosophying, fluffy or just funny. Maybe the newbs are earning it. Maybe a knee-jerk aversion to newbs is out of order. Otherwise, make it a private board.
