Been gone for over 2 months now. Am overseas and hop on a jet and fly 7000 miles to get home at 6 PM on the 24th...
Will be nice to have a nice steak, some BBQ ribs, baked potato and sit in front of a roaring fire in my home for a change, not to mention actually sleeping in my bed for a change.
For those of us who do not make it home, a tip of the hat. If you are wearing a uniform, you have our everlasting gratitude and first round is on me.
