When the Interseries ( Euro version of Can-Am) became popular right after the heyday of endurance racing ( for the 917)...many coupes were re-built into open top cars....some were N/A and some ended up Turbo. Then later...as the value and historical significance of these early cars became apparent... some were re-converted back into original 917K or 917LH coupes....
..pretty hard to say where/ how they all ended up. Best bet is to do a "trace" of the chassis numbers provided...per car. I believe there were close to 50 (or so) total 917's built, if I recall correctly..
