No telling how many remain, could be far more than 50.

I have read that Porsche at the time was building new chassis's for each major race. The chassis tubing was so thin and overall stressed that they feared severe cracking and structural failures so they replaced the entire chassis between events. Couple that with crashes, upgrades, ongoing development, radically different specs for different events and race classes...... I doubt its even possible to track a clear history for most of these cars.
