The insurgency has been throwing everything they have at us, stopping at nothing, no atrocity is too great, no amount of world disapproval is too much, and they have suicide bombers a-plenty. They are under pressure, both militarily and politically. What conceivable reason would they have for
not using any WMDs that they have? They certainly have the capability and the motivation to conceal a chemical shell in a car and detonate it near a US target, and they'd love to force US and Iraqi troops to patrol this summer in sweltering chemical suits and force Western companies to evacuate their personnel.
