ITs a 1995 993 c2. left it sit for a long time in garage, went out to start it, wouldnt start. Ended up ordering new fuel pump and DME relay, installed, STARTED. thought that was it was so happy. Went out a couple of days later didnt start. all this time it has been turning over but not even a sputter. So didnt know what to do other than order another DME, or 3 just to be safe. Put it in, still nothing, not even a sputter. Has alarm but is in valet mode so this shouldnt be the problem.
Things checked:
all fuses
**fuel pump will not run with dme relay in place but will run when u just through terminal 3 and 7.**
Possiblility questions:
Did these cars have any problems with factory alarms or "shut down?" switches?
Could it be the DME control unit.
