From memory, the fuel pump wont run until DME sees a starting signal, in other words, the pump wont run and run with just the key on, engine off.
Is your battery strong enough to spin the engine fast enough to start? Wiggle the new DME relay in its socket some to make sure the connection is good.
Otherwise, it may be your alarm that is acting up. I presume its an aftermarket alarm? Why is it in valet mode?
