Whether or no the collapse of Enron has hurt anyone has nothing to do with Ken Lay's guilt or innocence. My guess is he would be guilty as sin under the new law (Sarbanes-Oxley), but that's irrelevant here. I think he was probably asleep at the switch and is certainly criminally negligent. But I don't think he's nearly the monster he's been out to be by the media and politicians.
