All the Enron guys I ever dealt with all seemed like really nice guys. Of course, they were Engineers, etc. They also hated and despised one of our vice presidents and black balled her.
Ken Lay wrote our then President Bob Nardelli (Now CEO of Home Depot) that if this particular VP ever attended a meeting, all Enron employees were instructed to pack up and leave. If she attended a phone conference, they were instructed to politely hang up.
She lasted about another year at GE before heading to Pratt, and they fired her after about 3 years.
I can't hate Ken for that!
