I just completed a sleep study on a Tempur-Pedic mattress. Its not for me, causes sever cramps and continuous foot and leg pains. Also hot and confining. I have heard the hot and confining from a significant number of sources as well.
Odd thing is that I sleep best on a hard concrete floor or the ground. Its just not very comfortable.
I have found that beds are a lot like cars. The cheap ones feel and perform like crap. The wanna bees work good for a single lap or so and then break, the good solid performers, well in the bed world its like 1973 was in the auto business. Then theres the high performers, the Porsche S, The BMW M6, the corvete Z6, the Ferrari, and then theres the ultra high performers, like the new Bugatti, Rolls, Lambraghni and I can't spell them but you get the point. It would be nice to try them all, side by side, but it gets a tad expensive for us retired folks.
