I have a 95 w/ a clifford Alarm also.
I had your problem, I feel your pain.
Here is what happened in my case. Battery drained, opened the doors with my keys w/ a dead battery bypassing the alarm. The starter kill activated. After trying to reset the factory kill switch for hours unnecessarily, all I had to do is lock the car back up and go back in by unlocking the alarm system and doors with the Cliffod remote, therefore disabling the starter kill and "Voila" I was reunited with the thrill of driving this unbelievably sweet dream mobile.
