I could care less about any "Porsche" they're auctioning at B-J. It's a Ford/Chevy/Mopar crowd trying to recapture lost youth.

Don't get me wrong: I enjoy watching the auction, but mostly to see Amy and try to figure out why certain cars bring so much more than others.

So many cars last year went for less than half of the restoration investment, I wondered why the sellers had agreed to "no reserve." And the RS that brought only $90K? I would never sell a Porsche at B-J for no reserve.

I would never sell anything foreign period for no reserve at BJ. Most of the stuff I've seen go that isn't American iron has seemed kind of low, I guess it's the wrong crowd to appreciate an RS or DB5.
