I have a hannigan 2+2 with the ez-steer on an LT and I was getting 600-800 miles on a rear tire if he is going transcontinental then he will have serious tire wear issues
I have ~35K on the Michelens 140`s with almost no wear
an Auxiliary fuel tank would be a great addition
My guess is the he has 30-35K plus in building that rig but the adventure will be priceless
hopefully he will keep the thread going on av-rider and maybe do a feature in the Hackd MAg

He is a true believer in the strength of the GS wheels and I seem to remember some talk about ground clearance. It also allows the rear and sidecar to be swapped. The MC front tire makes the steering ligther which will be a help for him. Time will tell for mileage. They always have a mandatory tire change at the halfway point in the Asia trip.
I would not be surprized at more gas in the future. After 7 months I think he just wants to get it on the road. He had several months with a Ural that were not that happy.
The final bill is not in yet but your guess seems in range.
