the friend of mine that passed causing me to miss that AX this past summer was 39 and at home. he was a mess, he had tired of living, arguing with his folks over cleaning him room, doing drugs (not a harmless doobie neither), eating pizza & other bad food everyday, extremely overweight, sleeping disorder that caused him to fall asleep at any moment, working with his contractor brothers part time at best, as i said a mess.

i think what he had become was because he lived at home and that compounded his unhappiness leading to his "checking out". a real shame, as he did much better in school than some of the guys we all ran with, including me, and we all amounted to more than him. he was really depressed and ready to go at the end, other people and i had discussed it a few weeks prior to him passing.
