Could never understand why the need for drywall. Looks clean and all but I love the acessability of a wood frame. I have brick up so no real need to insulate except the ceiling. I,d say just insulate, vapour barier and strap. Or use plywood/particle bourd.
Electric is the best heating meathod. Safer and cheaper to hang one out of the way in a corner than gas or oil. No smell and don't have to worry about burning all the ozygen in the room.
