True that. Ironically, the guy I got my 914 from, a P car mechanic is very into old Mopars.

The day I bought my car, he sold a 1970 Super Bee for $20,000, and we had to push it onto the trailer, something about it being a 440 6 pack 4 speed with the heater delete option Apparently the heater delete means it was originally sold in Hawaii, incredible the useless trivia you can find out if you hang out with the right crowd. He sold a 1967 440 Belvedere for $15K, a 1967 Hemi car with no drivetrain, but otherwise complete for $25K, a dual 4 barrel intake with carbs and linkage from a hemi car for $3k, a few radiators for $1000 each(hemi radiators, whatever that means) One guy wanted to buy my brothers 1968 Barracuda Notchback 383 4 speed that was not for sale. You never saw so many overweight white guys drooling over somthing you would expect to find in a field with weeds growing out of it. Lots of the Mopar stuff is really hard to find, and the companies doing reprodutions are concentrating on Ford and GM.

He sold a 1970 Hemi roadrunner convertible to some guy from Nebraska a few years ago for $150,000. One of 3 made I guess.

I bought the only car he had that you could drive with 10 alloy wheels and boxes of spare parts for under $2000.
