Price, mostly. I wanted adjustability to properly match to the bars. I figured with Bilsteins + install + test + remove + guess + revalve + install, the price would quickly exceed the Ledas.
I'd run the basic Ledas in a ProRally car, and the only problem I ever had was fading them out at the end of a long twisty, bumpy stage.
22F/28R with 22/22 sways. For street use, I'm 8 clicks (33%) off full soft in front and 10 clicks (42%) off full soft in back and it feels perfectly matched.
But you should absolutely tell them your spring rates and they'll valve them to match. Leda builds them to order, so you get to specify valving, length, and spindle position.
