86 911 Auto Heat
Can anyone tell me what the range of movement
of the heater valve bellcrank is? I found the
servo control rod end pulled off which explains the lack of heat for the past couple years and am about to replace the part with
the "new and improved" ctrl. rod ($18+!)but
want to make sure the bellcrank isn't being
limited in movement. I can move it by hand thru an arc of about 1"to1.5". Does this sound about right? Is there a quick check to
determine whether the heater valve is opening and closing to the max extent? Thanx in advance for any light any of you can shed! And the seat rail screws were as tough as previous posts promised!!
