Just got back in from the Children's Club buyer's show in NYC Sun - Tues and am happy to report is was a very good show. While January is the smallest show of 4 throughout the year, it was a good test to see if retailers liked the new, more sophisticated direction in which G9Girl is going. Simply put, they did. We landed many new accounts, the crown jewel being a major, regional department store chain in the NY area, and resigned existing accounts. Perhaps even better was the many tween girls (daughters of buyers) at the show who wanted to buy the new lines on the spot. They really loved the BFF message and the satin trim on the Inspire series. One daughter dragged her mom to the booth and said, "Mom, you should run those in your store."
