Was the engine cold when the clutch incident happened or had it been running for awhile? If the oil temp indicator never went into the red, then you should be fine. Get the compression and oil pressure check anyway just in case you didn't notice it while staring at the red light and oil pressure.

Don't feel too bad, we've all done boneheaded things like this. Learn from your mistakes...when bad smells and red lights come on it's usually a good idea to just pull over and call the tow truck.
