This brings up something that I think has been talked about before on Pelican but has anyone come up with some sort of easily implemented warning buzzer or cut off switch to monitor the belt's status? I have a Passport 8500 radar detector that you can put into a mode that sends off a very loud alarm that instantly sounds if the voltage ever drops below 12v while driving (aka alternator failure). While driving, it just displays alternator voltage. Very cool.
The radar detector not only saves me from the police, but it may save my engine!
