Social Security taxes up a lot this year.
Just got the new Employer's Tax Guide and noticed that the gubmint raised the withholding limit to $94,200 for 2006 from $90,000 in 2005, a pretty big jump.
Does it bother anyone else that they keep increasing the social security tax every year without any debate, without any vote, without any news coverage--it's totally stealth. Can you imagine the uproar if congress tried to increase income tax by 4.7%?
